Allison Christian, Director of Clinical Processes

Allison Christian, our Vice President of Clinical Processes, is a physical therapist licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. Allison received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. During her career, Allison has practiced as a PT in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Missouri and Kansas. In addition, Allison has extensive supervisory and management experience having worked as a Regional Director and as a Vice President for various rehab companies. Allison supports our clinicians in various clinical applications including documentation and clinical skills development. As the VP of Clinical Processes, Allison leads the Key Rehab Clinical Review team together, they developed a review process that incorporates audits, training and skills development for all Key therapists in compliance with Medicare and other professional standards of practice. As part of Key Rehab’s quality assurance program, Allison plays an active role in enabling Key Rehab to be prepare to quickly and effectively address and respond to Medicare and Managed Care Medical Review requests, assisting facilities throughout the appeals process.

Allison lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband, 2 daughters and 3 dogs. During her time away from work, she enjoys traveling to volleyball tournaments with her daughters and cheering on all Kansas City professional sports teams!

Christie Dunn, Clinical Reviewer

Christie is our clinical reviewer.  Christie received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing at Middle Tennessee State University in 1995.   She has over 25 years of experience in the field of nursing, quality assurance, and long term care. Christie began her career as a LPN, and eventually moved to a RN position.  She has worked in a variety of departments as an RN, including quality assurance, utilization review and risk management in hospitals, long term care, and outpatient surgery offices. Christie is part of the clinical review team under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Processes.  She performs routine scheduled documentation audits, special audits with targeted focus (i.e., Ultra and Very High RUG utilization, ADR preparation, Therapy Cap and $3700 thresholds, etc.), develops audit tools, and acts as a resource person to therapists for compliance with documentation requirements as noted per the guidelines.
